Pre-MOT checks
There are some quick things you can do as a driver to give your vehicle the best chance of passing its MOT. If anything does need a quick fix before your test, running through a checklist can help you get that first time pass.
Check the windscreen washers & wipers are working & clear the windscreen effectively.
Check all lights are in working order. Ask a friend or family member to stand outside the car and confirm lights function properly.
Check tyre tread using the 20p test & make sure no cords are visible!, and tyre pressure too
Top up all fluid levels - screenwash, brake fluid and oil.
Check that the horn works - give it a quick honk!
All of your mirrors should be intact and secure to ensure you can use them safely.

** Tyre fitter vacancy**
Due to increased demand we now have a vacancy for a Full time tyre fitter to join our team.
The role is split between mobile tyre fitting and Garage based so no 2 days are the same. Previous tyre fitting is essential, mobile fitting a bonus. You will be replacing tyres at customers home, work or in an emergency around the Surrey/ London area along with fitting tyres for our new fleet customers. When based at the garage you will be replacing tyres, repairing punctures and performing Wheel alignments. you can get involved in mechanical jobs and on going training support will be provided.
A full driving license is required with a maximum of 3 points for insurance purposes and you must be 21 or above.
